Our Hope

We seek to share the good news of God's coming kingdom here on Earth with everyone we can. It is the shared hope in this future kingdom that unites our community together as a family in Christ.

Our hope is founded on the Bible’s teaching of a future resurrection followed by the establishment of a worldwide kingdom of God on Earth, as preached by the prophets and taught by Jesus Christ and the apostles. We believe that the hope of those who follow Christ and his teachings is to be resurrected from death, as Christ was, and to be granted eternal life in God’s kingdom that Jesus will establish on the earth when he returns. This hope is introduced in the Old Testament, in the promises to Abraham and to King David, and in the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and others. Jesus preached this hope, and Paul and the other apostles wrote about it. All these people spoke of a future eternal kingdom to be established here on the earth, with Jesus as King. The hope of those who follow Christ is to be raised from death when he returns and given eternal life in God’s kingdom – a kingdom filled with justice and righteousness.

What We Believe

We believe in the existence of an almighty Creator, maker of heaven and earth. We believe He has a plan to reward those who seek to know Him. We believe that plan is revealed in God’s word – the Bible, and it centers on the work of God’s son, Jesus Christ. “He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”. (Hebrews 11:6)

A World Wide Community

The word Christadelphian is derived from two Greek words Christos and Adelphi, meaning “Brothers and Sisters in Christ”. The Christadelphian Community is a worldwide family of believers that meet in Ecclesias, a Greek word for church. Although spread out all around the world, Christadelphians are connected by a common understanding of Biblical teaching and ONE hope, based on a belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
